Bear 773

The newest addition to my cub nursery is bear 773.  She is made from yellow chenille yarn.  I did not weight this bear because honestly, I feel like it wasn't necessary.  Her simple and bright look was perfect.

She is around 2 1/2 inches at her full length from head to toe.  She is wearing a key charm.  She is very light, weighing an 1 ounce.

This little bear will not have a sequenced tag like my other bears.  I put on her tag last night and messed it up.  I decided, well, this little one will go without.

If you have any questions and/or comments, leave me a note below this posting.

Thank you.

Online Craft Show

Good morning everyone,

Well, last week craft show took place, and it ended Monday night with only 3 bears that did not get adopted.  I was really happy with the results.  I will have another one eventually.  I did plan to have one in July, but I'll see how it goes.  I wanted to thank all of those that bought bears and all of those that gave me support and cheered me on.

It was really nice to have a small craft show and not have to deal with the fees, the move in, the set up, and then the take down and being just exhausted.  The plus side to a craft show, though, is meeting new and different people and seeing their reactions to the bears.

I will be slowing down making bears.  I have started a new craft project so I won't burn myself out on one.  I really like crocheting bears, and I don't want to get to the point where making a bear is getting difficult.  The last break I took, I didn't crochet a bear for a year.

Thank you so much for visiting my auction today.  Take care.

Update for the Bridenbun Charmed Cubs Online Craft Show

If you've been following this blog, then you already know about the online craft show I have scheduled for December 2nd.  I thought about having it this week on Black Friday, but I decided not to do that.  It'll be like competing against 10 Goliaths.

With December 2nd approaching, I scheduled all of the bears for listing on eBay.  Listing will still begin at 10:30 PM EST.  Every five minutes a bear will appear on eBay with the "BUY IT NOW" format only.  They will not be listed in sequencial order.  They were done by type of bear.  For instance, the suede bears will be listed in the same time frame, and the plush bears will be listed in a grouped time frame, as well.  All of the bears are listed at $8.00 dollars each or less.

One thing I've been asked is why not list my bears at a higher price?  I've been told they're worth more.  Well, I'm trying to get more people interested in purchasing my bears.  I am trying to build more excitement about them and get more people interested in them.  Having a lower price and having this online craft show will help in that goal.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  If you want to see most of the bears I plan on listing for the online craft show, visit my photo album on facebook at Bridenbun Charmed Cubs Photo Album.
Thank you so much for stopping.

Newest Bears for Week Ending October 29, 2011

This has been a very creative week for me.  With all the beautiful new yarn I got, I've had a overflow of creation inspiration.  I'm so glad to be in my creative flow again.  Let me share with you the new bears I've made.  I hope you like.

Bear 736 is the first one.  She is made from chenille yarn.  She measures approximately at 4 inches full length.  She is already up for adoption on eBay.

Bear 737 is made from Berroco Suede Yarn.  The color is called Dale Evans.  This bear is so cute.  I really enjoyed making her.

I just love Bear 738.  Yellow like the brightest sun and wearing a "HOPE" charm.  She is so plushy soft and light to hold.  I think whomever decides to adopt her will find themselves smiling more so than often.

Bear 739 is made from Berroco Annie Oakley {pink} and Dale Evans {ivory} Suede Yarn.  She has a "Thank You" Charm on to show just how much she appreciates her new owner ...once she's adopted, of course.

This bear is made from Lenzing Rayon Chenille Yarn.  This was the first time I used this type of yarn, and I just love the results.  I added a "perfume" bottle charm to her to finish her look.

This is another Lenzing Rayon Chenille Yarn bear.  Dark brown in color, but look very fuzzy.  She's wearing a ribbon and bug like charm.

Most of the bears you see in this entry are already up for adoption at is such great fun to send them off to their new adopted parents.  These bears are great to make.

Well, I hope you come back next weekend.  Hopefully, I'll have more bears to share with you.  Have a great weekend.

Newest Bears For Week Ending October 22, 2011

I have been crocheting for a while now, and it is always exciting to try new yarns.  When I found chenille yarn on eBay, I knew that yarn would make some of the cutest bears.  The one characteristics I did notice about the yarn is that it captures the light in the room and shows off another facet of its original color.  Chenille yarn is absolutely beautiful.  The colors are luxurious, the feel is soft, and just that alone inspires me to make more bears.

This past week I've been mostly preparing for the online craft show.  I'm trying to decide whether or not I plan on using Auctiva for the craft show on eBay.  I'll probably make a decision around the first of November.

But before then, I will have some bears available for adoption.  I have three on eBay right now as I type this up, and I'm about to introduce you to those bears.  Lets start off with Bear 732.  A picture of her is to the left.  She is made from lavendar acylic chenille yarn.  I used 3mm black round beads for her eyes and black embroidery floss for her nose.  My signature look for all of my bears doesn't fall short on this one.  She has a charm, of course, and a two multi color ribbon.  The one characteristic I noticed about acrylic chenille yarn is that for my bears, it makes the bodies firm.  It's not skin soft, but you can feel the luxury that this type of chenille has.  I was really happy with how Bear 732 turned out.

The next bear is 733.  She is bigger than Bear 732.  She is made from light blue and cream acrylic chenille yarn.  I'm not sure how she turned out bigger, but that's okay.  She is still very cute.  She has 3mm black round beads for eyes, black embroidery floss for eyes.  I gave her a "hope" charm and a blue ribbon.  I truly like her simple, sweet look.

Bear 734 is the last bear for this week.  She is made from Dazzle Rayon Chenille.  Rayon Chenille yarn is so luxuriously soft, and I was instantly in love with the feel and the final look of the frabic.  The yarn I used to make her is thicker in ypp, which is only a plus.  She has golden brown 3mm round beads and brown embroidery floss for her nose.  She is a georgeous bear.  The color is multi-faceted and the yarn is very soft.  Here is a picture of her below.

All three of the bears are already on eBay available for adoption.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today.  Glad you could stop by.  Hope you visit again soon.

Suede Bears

Suede has always been one of my favorite mediums to use when crocheting bears.  The fabric it creates is so beautiful.  I wish I had an endless supply of suede yarn.  In this next collection, I used Lion Brand Suede Yarn.  Unfortunately, the suede yarn is discontinued for that brand, and I am so disappointed.

Take a look at the three bears I made using Lion Brand Suede Yarn.

The main colors I used in this collection were taupe, coffee, ebony, and ecru.  Their range of height is between 3 inches and 4 inches.  They can be held in the palm of your hand with no weight bearing down.  Each bear is stuff with 100% polyester polyfil, has black 4 mm round beads for eyes, and embroidery floss was used to create their nose.  They are smooth to the touch and so soft.  Let me introduce you to each one.

The first bear is sequence number 729.  She is made from Lion Brand Suede Yarn taupe.  She is wearing a polka dot ribbon and treble clef with the word "music" charm.  She is so cute.  She can't see over her nose.

I put a lot of thought into creating Bear 730.  The colors played in mind for a long time, and I was glad to finally make her.  She was made from ebony and ecru Lion Brand Suede yarn.  She has a charm with no ribbon.  The charm itself being a bow made the look complete.  I truly like this bear with its sophisticated black and white look.

Bear 731 is such a camera hog.  I couldn't take enough pictures of this cutie.  Her colors are coffee and taupe.  She is wearing a heart button on her body and a ribbon.  I used the last of my coffee Lion Brand Suede yarn to create her.  I wish I had more.

This last picture is to show how big she is while in my hand.  She fits perfect, and she's not heavy at all.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this posting of my bears.  I try upload once a week or so everytime I complete a few.  I update my facebook page more often, and if you want to keep more to update, "Like" Bridenbun Charmed Cubs on Facebook.  I always look forward to new friends joining me as I crochet more and more bears.

Thanks for stopping by.  I'm so glad you allow me to share my crafts with you.  Take care and everyone.  Be safe.

Soft Cushy Bears

These next set of bears are so soft and cushy.  They're made from Baby Bee Pitter Patter yarn that you can still buy at Hobby Lobby.  The yarn is perfect for baby blankets because it is so soft.  It's perfect for my bears, too.  Take a look at the bears below.

You may remember this bear from an earlier post.  She is a part of the group I am presenting.  She is very chocolate and cushy.  Her face looks like she has worry wrinkles.

This is Bear 726.  She is made from beautiful soft baby colors, sugar plum and boo pink.  She is wearing a plastic seashell button with a pink ribbon.  I thought this was a very sweet looking bear with its soft pastel colors.

Bear 727 is made from the colors angel and peapod.  She is wearing a large metal flower charm with a gem in the middle.  She is a handfull of love.

This next little bear is confused but she knows what she's made of.  The color name is "ombre", and her snot is the color of "rosy cheeks".  I think she's very unique looking.  So sweet with her heart button and orange ribbon.

This is a wonderful collection of bears that will be a part of the craft show in December.  I'll try to update again soon with more bears.  Thanks for coming by.

New Chenille Artist Bears

Chenille yarn is becoming one of my favorite kinds of yarn to use to make bears.  When I got my acrylic chenille yarn not too long ago, I was really happy.  Not only did I have more colors to crocheted with, but I also I could complete my collection of acrylic bears.

The first bear you might have seen before, but she is a part of this collection.  Take a look.

This is bear 712, still looking lovely wearing her little treble clef charm and black glittery ribbon.  Let me introduce you to her sisters.

This is bear 722.  She is made from acrylic chenille "bone" color yarn.  She is wearing a ribbon and an apple charm.  She is a little taller than Bear 712.

Bear 723 is trying to give you her heart.  This bear is made from acrylic chenille "syrup" color yarn.  She looks like gold, and the color on your screen may be true to how it looks.  This is my favorite bear in this collection.

Bear 724 is wearing a metal butterfly charm with a black ribbon.  She's "burgundy", but the color looks like a dark rich brown, as well.

The last sister in this collection is Bear 725.  She is made from the color "auburn".  Beautiful, burnt orange, rich color, love it.  She is wearing a lock and a ribbon.  She is so sweet just like her sister.

Well, that's it for the bears in this collection.  I may be taking a small break.  I am thinking about which type of yarn to use next.  Maybe, not chenille, maybe something different.  I'll be sharing newly created bears as I make them.  Thank you for stopping by.

Craft Show Photo Album Information

Good morning,

I have been busy crocheting bears almost daily for the craft show.  Getting ready for this event has proven to be a fun project.  I am so glad to get my creative flow back, and I hope it stays with me a while.

I've been keeping you updated about the bears here once the collections are completed, and I have been also adding pictures to my Facebook page.  If you want to visit, follow, or like my Facebook page, here is the web address:  I mainly just update the pictures there with hardly no descriptions of the bears.

I have also made it easier to see all the bears that will be listed for the craft show in one single photo album.  Here is the picture folder on Facebook you can visit to get one quick eye view of all bears planned for the craft show.

Well, I hope your day is wonderful.  The weekend is here for most folks.  Be safe.  Thanks for coming by.

Tiny Bears Collection

The name seems pretty straight forward, right?  These next bears were made out of Dee-Lite Punch Thread.  This thread is like a very thin yarn.  When I make bears out of this, they turn out really tiny, sometimes less than an inch.

Usually, I would have the color names for each thread I used, but for a couple I don't.  So, when I describe each bear, I might leave out the color name.  Lets get started with the first tinee tiny bear in this collection.

This is bear 718.  On your monitor, the bear may look like a pale yellow, but the color is more like cream.  This little bear is abroundd 1 1/4 inch.

Bear 719 has a ton of personality in its tiny body.  Made from two colors.  The color for this bear appears to be tan and bone.  I used brown embroidery floss to make her nose.  Her eyes were made from seedlike brown beads.

This is Bear 720.  She is around the same size as the two previous bears, a little over an inch at full length.  Her nose is made from brown embroidery floss, and she has tiny seedlike beads for eyes.  For some reason, she was a little tough for me to crochet, but I was glad to complete her.  She turned out pretty good despite the struggle I had.

Bear 721 is the tiniest bear out of all 3.  She is exactly 1 inch tall.  The color of this bear is a tan, but the darker color looks like a very dark, rich burgundy or a rich color brown.  I'm not sure what the color would like on your monitor, but she is a georgeous bear.  Despite the fact this bear is smaller than the others, it was easier to make.  I was very happy with how this bear turned out.

These four bears are so tiny that I had to compare the size of this bear to other bears that were made before.  Look at the pictures below.

The blue bear looks like a giant next to the one in front of it.  The quarter I used almost hides the bear.

So I hope you enjoyed visiting my blog today.  The collection is steady growing, and I am glad to share this information with you.

If you have any questions, please leave a message.  Take care and have a wonderful day.

The Yummy Cupcake Cubs Collection

The Yummy Cupcake Cubs Collection is one of my favorite set of bears.  These bears look like icing on a cupcake.  The yarn makes the bear looks so scrumpious with its soft and subtle baby colors.  The yarn used to crochet these bears is called RED HEART MOON & STARS.  I used five different colors of this yarn, and I was really pleased with the results.  Each bear is soft and squeeshy to the touch, and very light to hold in the palm of your hand very much like every bear I've made so far.  Let me introduce to you each bear in this collection.

Say hello to Bear 713.  The colors she is made from is called "Buttercream" and "Snow".  She is wearing a white polka dot yellow ribbon with a metal butterfly charm.  She is around 3 inches at full length, and she is very light, no weight at all, in the palm of your hand.  This bear does not stand on her own much like all of the bears I crochet.  I hope you like her.  Now, let's move on to the next Charmed Cub.

Bear 714 is so precious looking.  The colors I used for her are "Blue Frosting" and "Blue Eyes".  She is wearing a ribbon and a charm that says "faith" on it.  Her nose is made from pink DMC embroidery floss.  This bear looks like she is trying to steal your heart.

I really like bears that are unusual looking.  Bear 715 is not your usual cutie pie.  She was made with the colors "Snow" and "Limeade".   She has on a ribbon and a butterfly charm to complete her.  I decided to make a white nose since the yarn she was crocheted from is called "Snow".  I enjoyed making her.  She was one of my favorites for sure.

Bear 716 is made from the colors "Blue Eyes" and "Snow".  I added 3 silk flowers instead of a metal charm this time hoping to get a softer look to her.  She is seems like the quiet type with the look she has.  Don't let her fool you.

Bear 717 is the last bear in this collection.  She is made from "Limeade" and "Blue Eyes".  She is wearing a ribbon and green glittery and black flower button.  The finishing touches on this bear really had a great affect on the bear.  She is a charm in person.

My hope is to put all of these bears in the online craft show scheduled to be on Friday, December 2, 2011 on eBay at the location:  My goal is to start 10:30 PM EST, 7:30 PM if you live in California.  I'll be updating more details about these bears and the listings as time get closer.

If you have any questions about these bears, let me know.  Follow me if you want to stay up to date as I post more bears or like me on FACEBOOK.  I update pics of the bears there, as well, at Bridenbun Charmed Cubs.

Well, until my next collection is done.  I'll see you then. Bye.

The Tiny Sunshine Collection

One of the things I like to do is shop for unique yarns that I can use to create my bears. This next bear will be the only one in this collection because I only have one color in this type of yarn. This next bear is made from Acrylic Chenille yarn I purchased from Beyond Pretty on eBay. The color is called Pebble, and the name of the color describes the shades of this yarn perfectly. The strands are small, almost a fingering size. It works up sturdy and strong, but fuzzy to the touch. The bear isn't really soft, but it is firm, which is perfect for the characteristics of this bear.

Bear 712 is tinier than the bears before her.  She is approximately 2 1/2 inches at full length.  I made her nose with black DMC embroidery floss.  She has round black 2mm round eyes.  She is wearing a ribbon and a Treble Clef charm.

I like the way this bear turned out.  She was very easy to make, and I hope to get more yarn like this in the future to continue this collection.

To reference the size of this bear compared to the other bears I've made in previous collections, take a look at the pictures.  As you can see with the other bears from the previous collections, Bear 712 is smaller.  Her strands were smaller than the kind used in the previous collections.

I welcome your questions if you have any.  I hope you come back again soon to view more bear collections for the craft show.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope to update with more bears soon.

Sweet Little Cubs Collection

This next collection of bears were made from Herrschners Chenille Yarn.  It is 100% acrylic chenille yarn.  This yarn is smooth and soft.  The yarn is fingering size, which makes these bears smaller than the polyamide bears.  There will only be 5 in this collection.  Let me introduce you to each bear.

This is bear 702.  She is made from Antic White and Dark Blue Herrschners Chenille yarn.  Her nose was made from brown DMC embroidery floss, and her eyes are tiny black beads.  She is wearing a charm and a blue ribbon.  She is approximately 3 inches full length and 2 3/4 inches in the sitting position.

This is bear 708.  She is made from Dark Blue and Antic White Herrschners Chenille yarn.  Her nose is made from black DMC embroidery floss, and she has black 2mm eyes.  She is wearing a blue ribbon and a cross charm.  She is also approximately 3 inches full length and 2 3/4 inches in the sitting position.

Say hello to bear 709.  She is made from Teal Herrschners Chenille yarn.  Her nose was made from black DMC embroidery floss.  She has black 2mm eyes.  She is wearing a ribbon and key charm.  She is a very cute bear.

Bear 710 is such a ham.  Can you tell?  I love this picture.  She is made from Burgundy and Black Herrschners Chenille yarn.  Her nose is made from DMC embroidery floss and has 2mm black eyes.  She is wearing a ribbon and a glittery button that is attached to her body.

The last bear in this collection is Bear 711.  She is made from Black Herrschners Chenille yarn.  Her nose is made from black DMC embroidery floss.  She is wearing a glittery gem charm and a ribbon.

These bears are somewhat smaller than the previous collection presented.  Here are some pictures to give you a reference of how big or little they are.

All of these bears will be available for adoption during the Bridenbun Charmed Cubs Craft Show on Friday, December 2, 2011 starting at 10:30 PM EST.  If you have any questions about these bears or other previous postings, please let me know.  You can also find more pictures on Facebook at Bridenbun Charmed Cubs.

Thank you for reading my blog, and hopefully, I'll be posting the next collection of bears soon.
